We belong here.

We are making mental health support accessible for young people worldwide.

Global Youth. Mental Health. One Mission.

Nunchi Health is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making mental health support accessible for young people—especially those from immigrant and minority communities. Through our free, evidence-based programs, we’ve reached over thousands of youth across 30 countries, helping them build emotional resilience, community, and a sense of belonging.

Our programs are designed by peers, grounded in culture, built for belonging—transforming what equity-centered mental health support can look like. In a world where stigma and inequity still limit access, we offer a trusted lifeline. Backed by leading funders and institutions, we’re growing rapidly to meet rising demand from communities worldwide.

What is Nunchi?

Who We Are

Nunchi Health is a mental health nonprofit creating brave, affirming spaces for young people. Founded in 2022, we focus on immigrant and minority backgrounds as these identities are too often unseen, misunderstood, or unsupported when it comes to mental health. Today, Nunchi is a community of professionals, students, and change-makers committed to mental health equity, cultural humility, and belonging.
We believe healing happens in community—and that everyone deserves support that reflects who they are.

What We Do

We offer free, peer-centered mental health programs for students navigating school, identity, and major life transitions. Our programs offer a brave space for students to reflect and problem-solve, tell their stories authentically, and a community where they can find support and belonging. We particularly focus on students of immigrant origin or background.
All programs are 100% free, because mental health support should be accessible to everyone.

Who We Serve

One in five persons living in the U.S. has a treatable mental health disorder. To make things worse, mental health care isn’t equitable—and young people from immigrant and marginalized communities are often left behind.

We serve high school, college, and graduate students, especially those from immigrant backgrounds or minority identities, who face unique challenges like stigma, intergenerational stress, and pressure to succeed.

At Nunchi Health, students don’t have to go through it alone.
