Nunchi Workshops
Nunchi Workshops are free, youth-centered spaces where participants learn practical mental health skills rooted in culture, community, and lived experiences. Designed by youth and guided by evidence-based practices, each session blends storytelling, reflection, and hands-on tools to help teens and young adults build emotional resilience and support one another.
Whether you’re navigating stress, identity, relationships, or the complexities of immigrant family dynamics, Nunchi Workshops offer a supportive space to learn, connect, and feel understood.
No prior experience needed!
What is it?
The Nunchi Workshop is an interactive, community-centered discussion space designed for students of minority identities. Together, students explore mental health experiences through a culturally grounded lens, sharing stories and support in an inclusive space. Each session is guided by thoughtfully chosen themes that reflect the realities and strengths of our communities.
Format
Workshops meet virtually for one hour and bring together a small group of 6–7 college students. This intimate setting helps create safety, connection, and meaningful conversation.

Be currently enrolled in college or have recently graduated
Be at least 18 years old

Our goal is to help participants build a supportive community, explore their mental health with curiosity and compassion, and identify meaningful ways to give back to their communities. Each workshop uses an interactive, educational curriculum grounded in mindfulness, reflection, and community action.
