Nunchi Workshops

Our Nunchi Workshops are free, youth-centered spaces where participants learn practical mental health skills rooted in culture, community, and lived experience. Designed by youth and guided by evidence-based practices, each session blends storytelling, reflection, and hands-on tools to help young people build emotional resilience and support one another.

Whether you’re navigating stress, identity, relationships, or the complexities of immigrant family dynamics, Nunchi Workshops offer a supportive space to learn, connect, and feel understood — no prior experience needed.

What is it?

The Nunchi Workshop is an interactive, community-centered discussion space designed for students of minority identities, backgrounds, and heritages. Together, students explore mental health experiences through a culturally grounded lens, sharing stories, perspectives, and support in a space built specifically for them. Each session is guided by carefully chosen themes that reflect the realities and strengths of our communities.

Format

Workshops meet virtually for one hour and bring together a small group of 6–7 college students. This intimate setting helps create safety, connection, and meaningful conversation.
